DEMOCRACY AND PARLIAMENT

Since I wrote 1867: How the Fathers Made a Deal in 1997, I have occasionally been commenting on Canadian democracy and Canadian political leadership - usually arguing that we need to think about strengthening Parliament in order to control leaders and increase accountability in Canadian politics. It's a minority point of view, but a few people seem to see what I'm driving at. Here are ideas I have published in recent years.
